Artistic Creation: 3D Concrete Printing for ZEBRES

A meeting of art and technology

At 3D Concrete, every project is an opportunity to push the limits of our expertise. Collaborating with artists also means exploring new forms of expression through our technology. It was in this spirit that we had the pleasure of working with ZEBRES Gallery, founded by Antonin Gatier. This Paris-based gallery, which showcases both emerging and established artists, values unique pieces and interdisciplinary dialogue.

A commission by Édouard Boulmier

As part of this collaboration, we supported artist Édouard Boulmier in creating two pieces from his collection: a console and a side table. Conceived as true functional sculptures, these works stand out for their bold lines and raw texture, enhanced by 3D concrete printing.

Visibility offered by ZEBRES Gallery

These creations are an integral part of Edouard Boulmier's work, regularly featured and highlighted by ZEBRES Gallery. By exhibiting these pieces in a space dedicated to contemporary creation, the gallery allows the public to discover another facet of concrete: that of a noble material shaped by additive technology in service of an artistic vision.

The challenge of printing unique artworks

Creating artistic objects requires extreme precision in execution. Every detail matters, every surface counts. Thanks to our expertise in concrete extrusion, we were able to produce pieces of exceptional quality. This level of finish embodies our daily commitment to bespoke 3D concrete printing, true to the artist’s vision.

A shared pleasure

Working with ZEBRES Gallery and its artists was a real pleasure. The search for meaning, the uniqueness of forms, and the desire to create lasting and impactful pieces—all these elements deeply resonate with our own approach.

A material serving creation

Concrete, a robust and timeless material, takes on a new dimension through additive technology. Using 3D concrete printing in an artistic context reveals its plastic potential while ensuring strength and durability. It’s also a way to restore prestige to a material often limited to construction.

A driving philosophy

This project perfectly illustrates our belief: innovation must serve creation. When used to produce unique pieces, 3D concrete printing opens new perspectives in art, design, and architecture. And it is within these singular collaborations that our expertise finds its full meaning.
