The Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Pyrénées-Orientales (CMA 66) recently inaugurated our latest creation, a revolutionary reception desk made from 3D printed concrete. It marks a turning point in the design of reception areas through the use of advanced technologies.
Design and innovation
Constructed in six distinct segments, this reception desk features a terracotta red finish, with a solid wood top that adds a warm and natural touch. The choice of 3D printing allowed for extensive customization and architectural precision that challenge traditional methods, offering a design that is both functional and extremely aesthetic, adapting to the site and the constraints imposed.
Impact and functionality
Beyond its spectacular appearance, the reception desk is designed to be fully functional, facilitating daily interactions while captivating visitors with its modern style. The reception area has thus been transformed into a true central point for CMA 66, promoting a welcoming environment for both visitors and members.
Commitment and vision
This project exemplifies CMA 66's commitment to innovation and support for the crafts sector by integrating cutting-edge techniques into its operations. We would particularly like to thank figures such as Messrs. BASSOLS and MONTES for their trust.
The new reception desk at CMA 66 is a statement of art and innovation. It embodies the transformation of public spaces through modern technology, providing an inspiring example for other institutions eager to redefine their spaces with boldness and vision.
