An emblematic project between sea and mountains
In Saint-Nazaire, a town located between the Catalan beaches and the Albères mountain range, a new visual landmark now captures attention: a monumental “I ❤️ SAINT-NAZAIRE” lettering, produced using 3D concrete printing.
This project was specifically designed to integrate seamlessly into the natural landscape of the leisure area.
A one-of-a-kind installation in france
This piece of urban furniture is unlike any other. It is the first mirror lettering in France to be readable from both sides in the direction of reading, regardless of the viewpoint.
Each letter gradually transforms in depth to become the letter visible on the opposite side — a technical achievement made possible by custom concrete extrusion geometry, designed to ensure maximum readability and visual impact on both faces.
One side features a clean, elegant white finish; the other displays vibrant colors inspired by the warm atmosphere of southern France.
A custom-made 3d concrete printing project
Each letter was specifically designed and produced for this site using custom 3D concrete printing.
Thanks to this innovative technology, 3D Concrete was able to adapt shapes, volumes and textures to the site’s topography.

Installed at the heart of a highly frequented leisure area — between a skatepark, nature trails and a lagoon — it has become an iconic landmark and a popular photo spot.
It also reflects the municipality’s desire to assert its identity through local, concrete and sustainable innovation.
